About the church

Carterknowle Methodist is a Christian church, built in 1904 and refurbished in 1991.

It is a member church of the Sheffield (Ecclesall) Circuit of the Methodist Church, sharing many common aspects with churches of most other denominations.

What do we believe?

• We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, and accept the obligation to serve him in the Church and the world.
• In the Church we commit ourselves to Worship, Holy Communion, Fellowship, Bible Study and Prayer.
• In the world we seek to work out our faith in all aspects of daily life.
