Churches Together in Abbeydale

We form part of the ecumenical grouping of churches 'Churches Together in Abbeydale' or CTA.
The other four member churches are:

We meet and share together in various ways over the course of a year.

Lent Study groups, the Octave or Week of Prayer for Christian Unity (18th- 25th January) and the Women's World Day of Prayer (1st Friday in March) are organised together. Full details of these events will be available on the Church Calendar..

We  join together on Good Friday in a silent walk beginning at  Holy Trinity, Millhouses and gathering people from Millhouses Methodist Church, St Peter's & St Oswald's and Carteknowle Methodist Church finally arriving at Mother of God for a short act of worship together.

As Churches Together in Abbeydale we plan and organise a bi-annual celebration of 'Praise in the Park' which takes place in Millhouses Park during the summer.
